Lee Newton Vice President, North American Rail Service

Sharpsville, PA, USA – (October 12, 2005) Cattron Group International, a leading manufacturer of remote control products and professional services for the railroad industry, has announced the appointment of Lee Newton as Vice President of North American Rail Services. Newton’s responsibilities will include U.S. and Canadian field service, repairs, training and help desk functions. He will report directly to Cattron Group’s CEO.

Newton came to Cattron in the 2004 acquisition of Beltpack and has been directing Canadian rail service operations as well as Cattron’s field service operations for Union Pacific. He brings to the newly created position a broad range of rail related experience spanning more than 30 years, including various foreign assignments, with a strong emphasis on customer relations and problem solving skills.
