Cattron Group International names John F. Paul new CEO

Sharpsville, PA, USA – (9, May 2005) Cattron Group International, the world’s leading manufacturer of portable industrial radio remote control systems, has announced the appointment of John F. Paul as President and CEO of Cattron Group Inc.

Cattron Group International (Cattron Group) represents the group of subsidiary companies and product brands owned by Cattron Group Inc.

Prior to Cattron Group, John has led multiple-plant companies employing as many as 3500 people with sales of $1 Billion. He brings with him substantial international and domestic experience leading companies that sell highly engineered products to industrial customers. Paul will have responsibility for Cattron Group’s worldwide operations.

“With every company John Paul has led he has demonstrated exceptional ability in achieving substantial growth while increasing efficiency,” said Tom McFall, Chairman of Cattron Group Inc. “John has the background and experience we need to effectively integrate our recent and future acquisitions and get us to our goal of being the prime global source for industrial radio remote control.”

Before coming to Cattron Group, John served as CEO for several companies including RealEnergy, Inc., High End Systems, Inc., Invensys Secure Power, and the Best Power unit of SPX Corporation (formerly General Signal Corporation). He has also served Eaton Corporation as General Manager of three separate divisions serving automotive, aerospace, and industrial markets.

John holds an MBA from Harvard Business School as well as a BS in Civil Engineering from Cornell University.
