Cattron Group International to give presentation at Overhead Crane Symposium during the Crane & Hoist Conference.

Sharpsville, PA 06-29-06 - Cattron Group International Director of Sales to give presentation on increasing safety and production through the use of portable radio remote controls.

Wednesday, October 4, 2006, Jeremy Pearson will be discussing the use of PRRC(Portable Radio Remote Controls) at the Overhead Crane Symposium in Houston, TX during the week of Oct 4-6, 2006. Utilization of PRRC equipment has become a much more common accessory with existing and newly-installed Electric Overhead Traveling (EOT) Bridge Cranes. There has been significant growth in the number of older EOT cranes being retrofitted with PRRC such that it has become more remarkable not to see a crane operated by PRRC in the average manufacturing facility.

Likewise, most operations managers are familiar with the more obvious efficiencies associated with PRRC such as the reduced number of operators needed to run a crane. This session will review both the obvious and not-so-obvious aspects of PRRC and how they impact efficiency and productivity in today's manufacturing environments. Attendees will learn operational techniques using PRRC for increased efficiency; safety aspects of PRRC that reduce injury and downtime; available options for improved productivity such as digital feedback and data-logging; and new technology and features of PRRC for improved performance.

For more information, you can either contact Cattron Group International or visit the Overhead Crane Symposium's web site for more details.
