Cattron Group International Names Joseph W. Trotter
Vice President of Quality

Sharpsville, PA, USA – (12, September 2005) Cattron Group International, a leading manufacturer of remote control products and professional services for the industrial, mining, commercial mobile and railroad markets, has announced the appointment of Joseph W. Trotter as Vice President of Quality.

Trotter comes to Cattron Group with over 20 years of quality management experience in developing, implementing and tracking production. In his new position, he will be responsible for the continuing enhancement of Cattron Group’s global quality control as the company continues to grow. He will report directly to John Paul, President and CEO of Cattron Group International.

“We constantly strive to engineer superior products with outstanding performance,” stated Paul. “Our ISO 9000: 2000 system establishes a base line for quality. We’ve created the Vice President of Quality position to take us to the next level, ensuring that we always provide the level of product integrity the global marketplace demands.”

In a previous position, Trotter was Vice President of Quality at Elliott Turbomachinery in Jeannette, PA where he directed the establishment and implementation of strategic quality policies and requirements across 20 facilities and worldwide field activities. Prior to Elliot he was Quality Assurance Manager for Siemens Power Corporation and also served as Director of Vendor Quality Assurance for the Naval Reactors Office responsible for the oversight of procurement of materials, components and nuclear fuel for the U.S. Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Program.

Trotter holds an MBA from Waynesburg College in Pennsylvania as well as a BS in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University. While serving in the U.S. Navy he graduated from the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power School and has received seven commendations for leadership and technical expertise. He has held certifications as an ASQ Quality Engineer and ISO9000 Quality Systems Lead Auditor.
